Warrandyte Festival is celebrating its 40 year birthday, inviting visitors to prepare to disco like it’s 1977!

The festival is a celebration of living in and loving Warrandyte.

Each year the festival welcomes thousands of locals and visitors to experience the unique surroundings and village atmosphere.

Festival fun

Festival-goers can enjoy the duck race, billy cart derby and fabulous festival fare on the banks of the Yarra. There will be plenty of entertainment for the kids, while adults can enjoy the swinging sounds of live bands.

There will be a craft market, delicious food stalls, dance classes, a street parade and loads more!

The parade is still a major feature of the festival, giving children and adults alike the opportunity to showcase their kinder, school, sporting and hobby groups.

The Warrandyte Festival is a no smoking event across the entire reserve, all weekend.

What’s new in 2017?

Warrandyte Film Feast: The Warrandyte Festival presents an evening of short films, fabulous food and live music on Friday 24 March.

Light Sculptures: This year the committee is on the hunt for budding and professional artists to create light sculptures. There are three categories in the light sculpture competition because children, budding artists and professionals are encouraged to enter the competition.
