The Winter issue is out now!

Welcome to our winter issue – a particularly exciting one for us, as last winter we produced our one-off free digital issue to help our business partners and the magazine through a very tough time…so it’s been 2 years since we saw winter in print.  As I write this, overlooking the mountains of the Upper Yarra Valley, the spectacular colours of autumn are still in full glory but there is a distinct chill in the air and I’ve resorted to winter boots and central heating (which many of you know, I still find an absolute luxury after years and years with a single wood burner to heat my home). I’m always grateful for the creature comforts that previous generations never knew.

I’m also grateful that we seem to have not only survived, but thrived, after a year that saw so many print publications being forced to close. Yarra Valley and Ranges magazine has been entertaining and informing its readers for twelve years now and the support we’ve had has been humbling. I think people are really embracing the benefits of buying local and supporting small business – including our own. When you buy a copy of the magazine, you’re not just keeping print media alive – you’re supporting all the fantastic artists, venues, restaurants, shops, wineries, B & Bs, design businesses, builders and architects, schools and more, that are showcased between the covers.

Our editorial is of the highest quality and consistently engaging, and the photography just keeps getting better and better – we are so fortunate to have such a talented team of contributors. We also LOVE input from you, our fabulous readers, and are keen to hear your ideas and feedback on how we can keep improving the region’s best loved lifestyle magazine. Watch out over the coming months for opportunities to get involved – there are lots of exciting plans being hatched and we can’t wait to bring them to you soon!

Meanwhile, please keep recommending us to your friends and family, consider buying a subscription for a gift to yourself or for a loved one or talk to our partners (or call us directly – we love to chat!) about the benefits of advertising with us – every bit of support makes a difference so that we can continue to work to support the region we love so much.

Our winter issue is laden with food-inspiration, ideas for winter escapes and of course, glimpses into the lives of the talented and fascinating humans that live amongst us. Reading your favourite magazine, with a cuppa in hand, is always a perfect little treat at this time of year! Stay warm and safe.

In gratitude,

Pip
