Longest Lunch events are part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, the focus ranges from cuisine to the arts, music and gardening. Events are set down for Gembrook and Mount Dandenong and Coldstream. With the aim of showcasing the region’s top chefs and best local wines – for huge crowds sitting at one ultra-long table – this year’s lunch features well-known Melbourne and Yarra Valley chefs Teage Ezard (of Ezard’s restaurant) and Shannon Bennett (Vue de Monde). The Gembrook event will have an Argentinian flavour, while Mount Dandenong’s diners will enjoy spectacular views at the Skyhigh Restaurant. Ticket prices for the lunches range from $95 to $165.
