After last year’s show the society took a new direction with a major initiative to encourage and support under-19 youth with artistic talent. This initiative is entitled Next Gen and will make up much of the work on display. This year’s exhibition has a new structure with major prizes in seven different categories: oils/acrylics, photography, watercolour/gouache, pastels, drawing, other media and printmaking. 10am-4pm

Artist of the Year – Robin Dawson at Sherbrooke Gallery
Robin Dawson will exhibit a new collection of works as the winner of the Sherbrooke Art Society Artist of the Year for 2015, in the Reg Green Gallery at Sherbrooke Gallery. Her varied mediums of oil, watercolour, pastel and drawing have each resulted in major awards and numerous commendations. Her subject matter is diverse: landscapes, seascapes, portraits and figure studies, flowers in still life and garden studies.
