DESCRIPTION:Sweet strawberries and family fun will satisfy any appetite at the 9th annual Yarra Valley Strawberry Festival in Lilydale this November. This year’s event will feature plenty of activities for kids of all ages\, from circus acts by Ruccis that encourage audience participation\, to carnival rides\, an animal farm\, pony rides\, various demonstrations\, craft stalls and plenty of food\, including delicious strawberries\, of course. The festival marks the start of the Victorian strawberry picking season and supports growers and local business in the Yarra Valley. Money raised helps the small school of about 140 families to maintain and update its information technology systems.
