DESCRIPTION:The Yarra Valley is home to some of the most inviting smaller wineries in the region. Shedfest Wine Festival\, now in its 14th year\, was established to showcase the unique charm of these family owned wineries and vineyards. \nAll wineries have sheds; usually housing crushers\, barrels\, tractors and other equipment vitally important to the production of fine wines. Shedfest sees these wineries open their sheds to house two days of fabulous food\, fine wine\, live music and entertainment. If you enjoy taking it easy\, tasting local produce\, experiencing the charm of small vineyards\, being captivated by stunning views\, chatting to the owners and winemakers\, tapping your toes to some fine tunes\, playing pétanque\, croquet and lawn games and watching the kids have fun\, all while sipping delightful wines… then Shedfest Wine Festival is for you! \nEntry is $15\, you will receive a souvenir glass which will be your ticket to taste all the wines on offer at all the participating wineries. There will be plenty of food on offer and moderately priced at all the wineries during the course of the day\, you only have to decide where\, when and what you want to eat. \n
