DESCRIPTION:THE SECRET Gardens of the Dandenong Ranges opens the gates to a selection of beautiful\, privately-owned gardens. \nNow in its second year\, the 2017 Secret Gardens of the Dandenong Ranges will offer a selection of day packages across October. \nPassionate garden lovers are offered a chance to visit a range of four to five gardens\, starting at Karwarra Australian Plant Garden & Nursery in Kalorama for morning tea\, coffee and a short presentation on the history of gardens in the Dandenong Ranges. \nHop on board\nGuests then board a bus and tour through the hills to each garden destination with expert guide\, Eddie Wasbutzki.  \nDelightful picnic lunches with wine from local producers are provided in a selected garden each day and sometimes include a guest speaker or presentation.  \nDuring the tour the stories behind notable private gardens are highlighted in casual presentations from garden owners themselves.  \nThe day is finished with Yarra Ranges sparkling wine and canapés back at the nursery. \nMorning tea in Kalorama\nSecret Gardens concept\nA not for profit community event\, the concept of The Secret Gardens of the Dandenong Ranges sprouted and grew through the dedicated work of the Dandenong Ranges Tourism Network.  \nTheir mission is to showcase the Dandenong Ranges as the premier garden region in Australia and a destination with a myriad of reasons for visitors to enjoy any day of the year. \nDetails\nThis exclusive event offers only 50 places each day\, on October 12th\, 13th and 14th\, the 20th and 21st. \nTickets $135+bf for single day packages and include transport\, garden entry\, meals and refreshments\, with further discount available for multi-day bookings.  \nFor tickets and further accommodation deals and exclusive dining experiences visit www.secretgardensofthedandenongranges.com.au \nFind more events here.
