TWO PASSIONATE CREATIVES CHOSE THE YARRA VALLEY TO MAKE THEIR DREAMS A REALITY

If you’re not familiar with the name Maker & Co, you can be pretty sure you’ll have seen the work of creative team Mark Sterling and Katie Field, without even realising it. The couple have been in the Yarra Valley for over ten years, and have quietly established themselves as masters of website design and development, brand development, marketing and social media. Working with businesses on both a local and global scale, Maker & Co is the digital genius behind some of the Yarra Valley’s finest brands. Together Katie and Mark have worked hard to create a life that they’ve always dreamed of. I met them at home in Launching Place with their two children, Millie and Ted.
Growing up in NSW, Katie and Mark could not have predicted where life’s crazy journey would lead them. Both adventurers and risk-takers, they have travelled the world, explored different careers and finally chose to settle in our beautiful Yarra Valley. A genuine boy-meets-girl-next-door chance meeting, turned out to be the beginning of a life that they have designed together, providing a work-life balance that is everything they could have imagined – and more.
