A SHARED LOVE OF THE DANDENONG RANGES INSPIRES TALENTED HILLS ARTISTS
WORDS & PHOTOGRAPHY | Mark Fergus
Before they had even met, artists Elizabeth Gleeson and Gerard Russo had a lot in common; both were single and living in Belgrave, they shared a love for the Dandenong Ranges and each of them was inspired by the natural environment and aware that it played a significant role in sustaining their creativity. Coincidentally, being part of the thriving, local arts community helped in providing opportunities to develop their artistic practice.
It was inevitable that they would cross paths and they eventually met through a mutual friend, CJ Baxter. They are now partners and wonderfully happy to be together.
