Triple Gold for YV Pasta
Yarra Valley Pasta secured three gold medals at this year’s Royal Melbourne Show Fine Food Awards.
The awards were held earlier this year and the team at Yarra Valley Pasta showed the quality they are known for. The gold medals were awarded for their Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli, Lemon and Parsley Linguine and the Gorgonzola, Proscuitto and Dried Fig Ravioli.
The judges commented that the Yarra Valley Pasta entries were creative, with great dough and flavour and retaining the freshness of the herbs.
Three new categories – Australian Distilled Spirits and Liqueurs, Fresh Produce featuring Garlic, and Pasta – were included in this years Autumn RMFFA program and competition for trophies was fierce with an impressive 436 entries.
